Many claim God created something from absolute nothingness: <em>creatio ex nihilo<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22.3999996185303px;\">The venerable doctrine of\u00a0<\/span><em>creatio ex nihilo<\/em><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22.3999996185303px;\">\u00a0especially emphasizes God\u2019s initial creating activity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22.3999996185303px;\">Some contributors to this book explore new reasons\u00a0<\/span><em>creatio ex nihilo<\/em><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22.3999996185303px;\">\u00a0should continue to be embraced today. But other contributors question the viability of creation from nothing and offer alternative initial creation options in its place.
